Types of People

There are two types of people in the world - Victims and Winners. Most of us have attributes from both types but generally we fall more into one category than the other.

Victim

There are two kinds of Victim - real victims of crime, tragedy, or disaster who are genuinely unfortunate. Then there are those who have normal lives but perceive everything that happens to them as being out of their control.

These people blame everything in their lives on external events and influences. Nothing is their responsibility, it is the government, their parents, the area they live in, their lack of money, the lack of opportunity, their school, their boss, and everyone hates them, etc.

We all know victims, they are people who achieve very little in life but sullenly moan and complain loudly that it isn’t their fault!

Winner

Winners are those people who take control of their lives. They understand that they control almost all of what happens to them and what they achieve, and that to blame everything outside of their control is a pointless waste of energy.

Winners learn from their mistakes, accept failure as a step on the path to success and are willing to take responsibility for their actions.

We all know winners, they don't have to be high achievers or earners but they are generally confident and successful in whatever field or walk of life they chose. They accept life as a challenge, but are often put-down and knocked by those who are more 'Victim' than 'Winner'.

• Blame everything/everyone else

• Obnoxious winners
• Believe that material things will make them happy
• Rude and disrespectful

• Take responsibility for themselves and others

• Good losers - accept defeat and learn from it
• Gracious winners
• Understand that material things will NOT make them happy
• Polite and respectful
